What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Minori Pantry generally collects information from you by telephone or through email, website and postal order forms. The information collected includes:

  • address

  • phone numbers (for contact purposes)
  • order details
  • Billing and delivery addresses and other incidental information required for ordering, payment and delivery products

The information is collected for the purposes of responding to your queries, supplying you with requested information on products and the ordering and delivery of products to you. If you provide incomplete or inaccurate information, we may be unable to process your orders.

We may also use your personal information to keep you informed about special offers, sales or new products offered by Minori Pantry. If you do not wish to receive this information, you may advise us at any time.

We provide an email list, which customers may subscribe to. You may opt-in or out of this email service at your convenience.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

  • Disclosure is necessary to conduct appropriate checks for creditworthiness and for fraud.
  • To freight and transport companies such as Australia Post in order to arrange delivery of products for you at your request.
  • You have consented to our disclosing the information about you.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

Access to your Personal Information

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

Minori Pantry will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Credit Card Information

We do not retain financial information submitted through our online store, this information is encrypted by secure third party technology and we do not have direct access to it.

Use of our Website

For statistical purposes, we collect information about the use of the website, minoripantry.com.au. This includes information about the number of visits to the site, what pages were viewed, the length of each visit to the site and the previous website visited. However, no personal details are collected as part of the statistical information.
